Lu Xin . 呂欣  (1977 Leshan, Sichuan)

Lu Xin was born in Leshan, Sichuan in 1977.  Lu graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2000 and is currently teaching at a university in Lianyungang, Jiangsu.  His Solo Exhibition: in 2002, "Reading", was held at Top Floor Gallery, Shanghai.  Group Exhibitions: in 2000, "The Wanderer" was held at Contemporary Art Museum, Beijing; "Image and Transformation" at Top Floor Gallery, Shanghai.  Also in 2004, "Overlooking" at Shanghai Wuse Art Workshop.

 

Zeng Chuanxing . 曾傳興  (1974 Neijiang, Sichuan) 

Zeng Chuanxing was born in 1974 in Sichuan.  Zeng graduated from the Oil Painting 
Department of the Academy of Fine Arts of Minzu University of China and now teaches in the Fine Arts Department of Hunan University of Arts and Sciences. Zeng's works not only have solid basic skills, but also are endowed with spirituality.  His work “Passing” won the Outstanding Work Award in the 3rd China Oil Painting Selected Works Exhibition, and “Paper Bride·Prayer” was selected into the 10th National Art Works Exhibition. At an auction of calligraphy and painting works held in Beijing, Zeng's work “Passing”sold for 154,000 yuan.  At that time, at an auction of calligraphy and painting works held in Guangzhou, his“The Passing Landscape” sold for another 100,000 yuan. The art circle of the provincial capital spoke highly of Zeng Chuanxing's works.  Zhu Xunde, chairman of the Provincial Artists Association, said in the preface to the exhibition: 'An accomplished and insightful artist must first of all have extraordinary talent and purity, as well as a strong sense of thought and concentration, this kind of artistic creative talent is nourished by education and perseverance, create moving works which are inevitable in my opinion. Chuanxing is such an outstanding young artist'. 

 

Wang Yishi . 王以時 (1939/6 Chongqing) 

Also known as Yishi, he is from Longgang, Dazu, Chongqing. He is a professional 
artist living in France, a professor, a member of the Chinese ArtistsAssociation, a 
member of the French Artists Committee, a member of the French Contemporary Artists Union, an academic consultant of the French National Print Museum, an honorary citizen of Thiers, France, and a special recipient of the State Council's 
allowance. He is good at Chinese painting and comic strips. 

In 1960, he graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts  Institute, and Art cadre of Chongqing People's Art Museum. “Going to Liangshan on a Snowy Night”won the Third National Comic Strip Excellence Award, and“Cradle”(co-authored), the comic strips“Looking for the Bashan Guerrillas” and“Water Margin”were selected for the Sixth National Art Exhibition. His papers include“Rich Life and Simple Art” , “Choosing between Tradition and Reality” ,  “High-Level Development of Popular Literature and Art”,etc..

 

Ma Yiping . 馬一平 (1941 Zhejiang Longyou)

Ma Yiping, a native of Longyou, Zhejiang, is an expert with special government allowance from the State Council, an educator and artist, president of Chengdu Academy of Fine Arts, Sichuan Conservatory of Music, director of the Chinese Oil Painting Society, and president of the Sichuan Bashu Painting School Promotion Association. In 1962, he graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and stayed on to teach. He was promoted to professor in 1987. His works have been exhibited in national art exhibitions for many times, and have been exhibited in Canada, the United States, Japan, Singapore, Algeria, Yugoslavia, South Korea, Vietnam and other countries. He has won the first prize of Sichuan Province Outstanding Works Award, the National Art Exhibition Outstanding Works Award, the Chongqing Gold Award, etc. .

He has served as member of the Standing Committee of the Chongqing CPPCC, executive director of the Sichuan Artists Association, vice chairman of the Chongqing Artists  Association, and vice president of the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. Li Jie, executive vice  president and secretary general of Bashu Painting School: Mr. Ma Yiping is an influential figure both in artistic creation and art education. It is widely expected that he will serve as the president of the Bashu Painting School Promotion Association. Mr. Ma not only expanded the influence of the Bashu School of Painting with his personal reputation and charisma, but also worked hard to promote its development.

 

Qian Liu . 錢流 (1954 Wuhe County, Anhui Province) 

Qian Liu, he is good at oil painting and pastel painting. He graduated from the Fine Arts  Department of Anhui Normal University in 1982 and entered the Oil Painting Department of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts for further studies in 1991. He has served as a teacher at Lingbi County Normal School in Anhui Province, director and associate professor of the Fine Arts Department of Huaibei Normal University, associate professor of the Fine Arts Department of the School of Art of Soochow University in Jiangsu Province, a member of the Chinese Artists  Association and a director of the Anhui Branch of the Chinese Artists Association. 

His works and exhibitions include his work“Making New Clothes”which was exhibited at the 6th“National Art Exhibition”,“Butuan Woman”which was exhibited at the 1st“China Oil Painting Exhibition”, “Dai Girl”which was exhibited at the 2nd“China Oil Painting 
Exhibition”,“Fisherman's Home”which was exhibited at the 2nd“China Oil Painting 
Exhibition”and“The Story of a Fisherman”which was exhibited at the 2nd“China Oil Painting Exhibition”.“Female”participated in the“National Water-color and Pastel Exhibition”.“Mother and Child”is collected by Zhejiang Natural History Museum. He has 
published“Oil Painting Techniques”.

 

Zhao Xingfeng . 趙先鋒 (1958)

Zhao Xianfeng engaged in art work ni the Guangzhou Military Region in the 1970s.
From 1986 to 2001, he studied oil painting ni the Department of Literature and Art of Jiaotong University and the Department of Fine Arts of Shanghai University. In 2004, he held an art exhibition in Shanghai. In December 2005, the "Shanghai Aley" series 
participated in the first Shanghai International Art Collectors Expo.

His Water of Life series is created with the thought of contemporary art forms, with 
exaggerated conception, colorful and modern-based contemporary works that draw people's attention ot the scarcity of water resources. The expressions of the little 
characters in the picture are exaggerated but have different expressions, expressing the children's desire for water. Through artistic expression, the importance of water is 
visually recognized, so that people can realize that water resources are closely related to human survival. People should cherish water and benefit the development of 
harmonious coexistence for future generations. This series of works message that sends to the viewer is so strong and profound.

Xu Yexiu . 徐也秀 (1956  Anshan City, Liaoning Province)

Xu Yexiu was born in 1956, Liaoning province. Xu graduated from the Department of Language and Literature, TV and Radio University. Then he studied at Calligraphy Art Studio and Oil Painting Studio in Central Academy of Fine Art respectively. 

Xu became professional teacher of calligraphy and member of Chinese Calligraphers Association. His work of calligraphy were selected in several national exhibition, at the same time Xu also creates in modern art, oil painting, sculpture and installation art works. He establishes "Beijing Songzhuang Studio" since 2005.

Xiang Chunsheng . 項春生 (1960  Anhui)

Xiang Chunsheng graduated from the Fine Arts Department of the Central Academy of Drama in 1983. In 1990, his work“Dusk”won the bronze medal at the China Oil Painting Exhibition. In 1991, his oil painting“Romantic axophone”won the highest gold medal at the China West Lake Art Festival. In 1992, his work“Distant Village” was exhibited in the China Oil Painting Art Exhibition. 

In1994, his oil painting was selected for the“94 Oil Painting Salon Exhibition”. 
In1997, his oil painting“Troublesome Thoughts”was exhibited in the“Towards the
New Century - China Oil Painting Youth Exhibition”. In 2001, his work“Wind at Yaogang”won the Gold Prize of the Ministry of Culture's Star Award. In 2005, his work “Four Scenes of Huangshan : Pine, Snow, Peak and Water”was selected for the “Man and Nature”exhibition. Xiang Chunsheng's works reveal a tranquil beauty, and his techniques clearly reveal the influence of Andrew Wyeth, but the healthy and innocent images of girls he depicts are more oriental in temperament. What has changed is the faint melancholy conveyed in the pictures, which gives his works a distant atmosphere.

Bai Chunyu . 白春禹 (1984  Langfang City, Hebei Province)


In 1999, he studied oil painting at the Painting Department of the College of Arts and Crafts of Hebei University. Exhibitions and Awards: Solo exhibition“Bai Chunyu Sketch Exhibition”(Hebei University School of Arts and Crafts, 2000) ;“Baoding-Macau” Exchange Exhibition and won the Excellence Award (2001) ;“Remembrance”was exhibited at the National Museum of China and won the“Third He won the first prize in the youth category of the 19th National Youth Calligraphy and Art Competition and was invited to participate in the exchange exhibition in Japan, where his works were selected into the collection of award-winning works (2006). 

His“Sunlight Obscuring Girl”and “Portrait of a Great Man”are both in private 
collections. The female student was also published in the second volume of the series of books“Sketch”Oil Painting Volume,“Practice on Demand Station - Wang Jian and the Art Academy Candidates' Sketch Collection”,“Art College Entrance Examination Basic Course Sketch Portrait”,“Art College Entrance Examination Intensive Training Color Avatar”and so on.

 

Wang Xingping . 王興平 (1962  Baoji City, Shaanxi Province)

Wang Xinping began to study painting art in 1979, he also learned from painting masters Han Baosheng, Zhang Rongguo, Luo Ping'an, etc.  In 1986, Wang's work - 'Red, Yellow, Blue Modern Oil Painting Exhibition' was crowned the 'Cave Dwelling Painting faction'. He is currently a member of the China Oil Painting Association, a member of the Shaanxi Artists Association, and a member of the Bao Director of Jiji Artists Association and Chairman of Baoji Oil Painting Society. 

His important works include the 1996 work "Horse Kiln" selected into the 'Collection of Powerful Artists from Western China', and the traditional Chinese painting "Painting Case" in the same year won the third prize in the China-Korea Calligraphy and Painting Competition.  Exhibitions were held at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in 2003, additionally, in Hong Kong, he participated in the Hong Kong Baoqutang Museum of Contemporary Art - 'The Call of Spirituality - The First Oil Painting and Sculpture Exhibition'.  In 2004, a solo exhibition was held at the Oil Painting Gallery of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Shanghai.

 

Huang Xiaoling . 黃小玲  (1943  Daye, Hubei)

Huang Xiaoling was born in June 1943 in Daye, Hubei.  Huang is good at oil painting, watercolor painting and art education.  In 1960, she was admitted to the Affiliated Middle School of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts and has been teaching at the college since 1973 and is an associate professor. 

Her works include “Steel Transported to All Directions”, “Dong Girl”, “Pasture”,  "Fence and Child”, “Steel Spirit”, “Spring in Huangju Township”, etc.  Some of her works are collected by the National Art Museum of China and others.  She has compiled and written “Colorful Still Life Sample Paintings”.

 

Yang Xing Ya . 楊興雅  (1946  Dandong City, Liaoning Province)

Born in Liaoning Province, Yang graduated from the Dandong City's School of Art.  He is the member of China Artists Association Liaoning branch and the Liaoning Poetry 
Association. 

Yang's artworks have been widely exhibited, published and have been selected twice in the 'Shanghai International ArtsExpo' (2002 and 2003).  The artworks, "The Other Side of the Water", "The Aley", "Old Memories", "The Auspicious Sign" are acquired by both local and overseas collectors.  In current years, Yang visited Japan various times and 
organized solo exhibitions in Tokyo and Kyoto.  Most of Yang's works are collected by overseas friends who treat these artworks as treasures, among which, "Summer", is 
even collected by the Queen of Japan.

Zhang Jie . 張傑  (1963  Chongqing)


Zhang Jie is a famous oil painter and professor.  In 1988, Zhang graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute with a master's degree.  He is currently the vice president of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, a member of the Art Education Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, a member of the Higher Education Laboratory Construction Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a director of the China Oil Painting Association, and the vice president of Chongqing Education Calligraphy and Painting Academy.

His works have been exhibited in solo exhibitions and large-scale academic art exhibitions at home and abroad, also won provincial and national 'Excellent Works Awards' many times.  Furthermore, they are collected by the National Art Museum of China, the Chinese Military Museum, and the Shanghai Art Museum. Official websites such as 'People's Daily Online' 'TOM Online', 'British Oriental Art Network' and many important academic journals at home and abroad have used special editions to introduce his works and creative ideas.  His works have been exhibited at major auctions at home and abroad, including Sotheby's Taiwan.

His works have been selected for the 'Third Eurasian Art Biennial', 'The Seventh and Eighth National Art Exhibitions', 'China Oil Painting Exhibition', 'National Art Exhibition to Commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Yanjiang', 'The First China Oil Painting Annual Exhibition', The first China Landscape Invitational Exhibition, the 1993 China Oil Painting Biennial, the 1993 China Oil Painting Annual Exhibition, the 1997 China Art Exhibition, the 4th Sports Art Exhibition and many other large-scale national art exhibitions have been held.  He has won the "Excellent Work Award" at various levels. His work "A Page of History" was officially collected by the Chinese Military Museum, and his work "Traces of the Earth" was officially collected by the Shanghai Art Museum.  Zhang has held solo exhibitions in Canada, the United States, and Italy, and published "Tradition and Modernity - Zhang Jie's Oil Painting Collection".  Many of his works have been exhibited in the United States, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Canada, Yugoslavia, Turkey, Congo, Zaire and other countries and regions, where they have received wide acclaim and have been collected by many museums and collectors.

During the teaching process, Zhang conducted a lot of experiments and research on the systematic and scientific nature of art education.  He wrote the monograph "Art Thinking and Creation", also textbooks "Basics of Creation", "Basics of Color", and "Color Portrait Sketching".

 

 

Lei Tan . 雷坦  (1939-1999  Guangzhou)

Lei Tan graduated from the Stage Art Department of Shanghai Theatre Academy.  In 1971, Lei joined the Chinese People's Liberation Army and engaged in art work.  In 1985, he transferred to Guangzhou Academy of Painting.   He is currently a member of the China Artists Association, a full-time painter of the Guangzhou Academy of Painting, a first-class artist, and an art consultant for the“Special American Gallery”of the Guangzhou Academy of Painting. 

Since 1959, he has published his works and participated in provincial, municipal, national and international exhibitions.  His works have been selected for national art exhibitions sixteen times and published in 'Fine Arts' seven times.  Many of his works, including “Flying over Luding Bridge”, “Hometown Journey” and “Qinma Yangtze River”, won the military and provincial awards for outstanding works.  His huge oil painting “Lushan Storm” won the gold medal at the Guangdong Provincial Art Exhibition.  Eight paintings are in the national collection.  Published three volumes of personal works.  He held nine solo exhibitions in Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other places, and was interviewed and introduced many times by the TV program “Art Gallery” and publications. Since 1993, his oil paintings have been successfully auctioned six times at the 'Chinese Contemporary Oil Painting Auction' held by Swire Properties in Hong Kong.  In 1993, he was invited to give lectures at the former National Art Center College of Design.  His papers and works include “On the Tension of Color Expression” and “Making the Color World More Colorful”.

 

Shen Jun . 沈軍  (1938  Shanghai)

Shen Jun was born in Shanghai in 1938.  In 1962, Shen graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and stayed on to teach, he has been teaching in the Oil Painting Department and the Affiliated Middle School for 36 years.  He served as a member of the Oil Painting Art Committee of the Guangdong Artists Association and vice chairman of the Guangdong Oil Painting Society.

He is currently a professor at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, a director of the  Chinese Oil Painting Society, a member of the Chinese Artists Association, and a member of the Guangdong Artists Association.

 

Yu Pujie . 于普潔   (1943  Shandong)

Yu Pujie was born in Shandong in 1943 and is good at watercolor and pastel painting.  Yu has loved painting since childhood.  He joined the army in 1961 and studied under the guidance of famous oil painters such as He Kongde and Gao Quan.  He worked as stage designer for Qingdao Peking Opera Troupe in 1968 and art editor for Qingdao Daily from 1969 to date. 
In 1989, he graduated from the Central Radio and TV University with a major in journalism, and is currently a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a specially appointed senior painter of the Shandong Academy of Painting, deputy secretary-general of the Shandong News Artists Association, as well as consultant to the Oil Painting Art Committee of the Qingdao Artists Association.  Since 1973, his watercolor and oil paintings have participated in national exhibitions.

“Selected Works of Yu Pujie” is published by Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House.  In May 1998, his oil paintings were exhibited at the China Art Expo.  In November, the oil paintings were exhibited at the Shanghai Art Fair. The gouache painting “Morning in Taiping Bay”was selected for the “4th National Watercolor and Gouache Exhibition”.  “Yu Pujie's Sea Oil Painting Exhibition” is on display in Shanghai.  “The Adventures of Prawn” won the second prize in the first National Science and Art Exhibition.  Many of his works are collected by individuals and institutions overseas.

 

Pu Yuemei . 蒲粵梅   (1982  Chengdu, Sichuan )


Pu Yuemei was born in Chengdu, Sichuan in 1982.  Pu studied successively at the Affiliated High School of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts and Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts.  She currently lives and works in Chengdu.  She is a professional artist, mainly engaged in the creation and research of experimental art and painting.  Her representative work “Hanging City” series is an artistic exploration spanning a decade.

Her artistic style looks at the world with a childlike heart.  There is a world of no complaints, only mutual care.  After the artist clears the pressure in reality, she reconstructs a world of her own.  And this kind of world is what supports the artist to move forward "The City"! 

 


Han Bingning . 韓冰凝  (1984  Baoding City, Hebei Province)

Han Bingning was born in Baoding, Heibei province.  Han has been studying in the Integrated Painting Department of Tianjin Academy of Fine Art since 2004.  Her exhibition and awards: Paintings - "Big Gypsum", "Landscape", and "Rattan Chair" were acquired by the Foundation Department of Tianjin Academy of Art (2005).

Her "Quintessence of Chinese Culture", and "Gazing Around" were awarded and collected when exhibiting in the Tianjin Academy of Fine Art Best Student Exhibition.  Han was selected to study in Germany.  Her "Pioneer of the Era" was exhibited in the Chinese Nation Art Museum.  This painting won the first class award (institution) of the Third Annual Youth Calligraphy & Art Champion.  It was also published in the catalogue and sent to Japan for exhibition.  Han then received the scholarship from the Academy (2006).

 

Yan Yaya . 燕婭婭   (1964  Shaanxi Province Xi’an)

Yan Yaya is a modern Chinese strength faction oil painter.  Yan graduated from the College of Fine Arts of Northwest University for Nationalities in 1985.  In 1995, she graduated from the 9th Oil Painting Training Class of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.  Her important exhibitions and awards include “Chinese Oil Painting Newcomers" (1997) and won the Excellence Award, China-Iran. Islamic Art Exchange Exhibition (invited by Iran, 1998), “Yan Yaya-Sunshine. Angel”Asian Tour Solo Exhibition ( Jointly organized by the Singapore and French International Art Exchange Association, 1999) and the Classic Ten Years Oil Painting Exhibition (National Art Museum of China, 2006).  In 1998, she was awarded the 'Most Outstanding Woman Award' by CCTV.

 

Lu Jiren . 呂吉人  (Shanghai)

In 1958, Lu Jiren became a disciple of He Tianjian and studied traditional Chinese painting techniques and painting theories.  In 1960, he entered the preparatory course of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts and graduated from Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts in 1968. In 1984, his painting “Jade Screen in the Clouds” won the silver medal in the Chinese Painting Competition of the Asia Society of the United States.  In1985, he graduated from the Art Students League of New York. 

In 1991, his painting “Venice Canal Scenery in Green Tone” won the American Professional Painters Union Award of Excellence.  In 1994, his painting “Homes on the Water” won the American Artist Magazine Award of Excellence and the American Professional Painters Union Grand Prize.  In 1995, his painting “Autumn Water” won the American Artist Magazine Award of Excellence.  In 1996, his work “Quiet Village” won the Grand Prize of the American Professional Painters’ Union, and his work “Phoenix Spring Early” won the highest honor of the American Artists’ Union - the Gold Award.  In 1998, he held a personal auction of 10 works in Shanghai, and the proceeds were donated to the Shanghai Charity Foundation.  In 2000, he was invited to produce the giant screen “Splendid Picture of the Pujiang River” for the Shanghai International Conference Center.  In 2000-2003, Lu completed the giant scroll “The Complete Picture of Chinese Splendor”.  In between 1983-2003, he has held 60 solo and group exhibitions in various countries and regions around the world such as China, Hong Kong, America, Canada etc…, .  There are 22 works of him were sold at auction houses such as Christie’s and Sotheby’s.  He has won 9 awards.  He has published “Collection of Paintings by Lu Jiren”, “Lyrical Paintings of East and West Water Villages - Collection of Landscape Paintings by Lu Jiren”, etc.

 

Yang Gao . 羊羔 (1963  Inner Mongolia)


Yang Gao was born in the Inner Mongolia in 1963. Yang has lived and worked as a professional painter in Guangdong and Beijing.  His art works and paintings have been featured in many magazines and TV stations such as Chinese Talents, Eastern Air Connections, Collection (Taiwan) etc.  In 1997, Yang has migrated to Australia.

 

 

Li Zhonggua . 李忠華  (1948  Yibin City, Sichuan)

Li Zhonghua was born in Yibin, Sichuan in 1948.  Li studied at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and China Culture Academy, and has been engaged in art work for more than 30 years.  He has been awarded the title of national senior artist since 1988 and is currently a professional painter.  He is also a specially appointed senior calligrapher and painter and director of the Art Committee of the China Culture and Art City; Honorary Vice Chairman of China Art Network; Professor at Liu Qian Art Research Institute in China; Director of the World Calligraphers and Painters Association; member of the International Artists Federation; member of the Sichuan Artists Association; Consultant of Singapore New China Academy of Arts; Professor of Hong Kong World Chinese Distance Education College, etc.

 

 

Zhang Guangzhi . 張廣志  (‬1947‭  ‬Liaoning‭)‬

Zhang Guangzhi is currently the deputy researcher of Benxi Art Museum and the executive vice chairman and secretary-general of the Benxi Artists Association.  Zhang is good at oil painting. He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts.  His works were selected for the 7th and 8th National Art Exhibitions and the National Art Exhibition for the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China.  His oil painting “Spring Returns to the Earth” won the gold medal at the National Stars Exhibition, and the propaganda poster “Night Rain in Bashan Mountains” won the first prize at the national exhibition and is collected by the National Art Museum of China.  He has published “Collection of Masterpieces by Contemporary Chinese Artists - Zhang Guangzhi’s Oil Paintings” and “Collection of Masterpieces of Zhang Guangzhi’s Oil Paintings”.‬

 

Sheng Shenshen . 盛姍姍  (Shanghai)

Sheng Shanshan was born in Shanghai.  Sheng graduated from the elective class of the Continuing Studies Department of the Fine Arts Department of Shanghai Theatre Academy in 1981.  After graduation, she worked as an art editor for Shanghai's 'Mengya' magazine.  In 1982, she went to the United States to study and graduated with a full scholarship.  She studied Western oil painting and Western art history at Mount Holly York College in the United States and raduated with honors.  Later, she was admitted to the University of Massachusetts and obtained a master's degree in fine arts.  She then served as a professor at Harvard University, she has been an artist at the school for two years and now lives in San Francisco, USA.

Sheng Shanshan has held more than 20 solo exhibitions in Boston, New York, Chicago, Amsterdam, Belgium and Hong Kong, etc.  In 1989, she was named the chief artist of the Chicago Asian Art Festival. In 1990, she was named one of the 100 most outstanding professional women in Chicago.  Among the ten tallest buildings in the world, three of them have Sheng Shanshan's huge oil paintings hanging in them: Shanghai's Jinmao Tower, Hong Kong's Central Plaza, and Chicago's Amoco Building.  Her works have been exhibited at international art fairs, museums and art centers across the United States.  In addition, her works is also collected by many university art galleries, major buildings, famous companies and private individuals.

 

Wei Zuyin . 衛祖蔭   (1937  Henan Huixian)

Wei Zuyin is also known as Wei Zuyin and is from Huixian, Henan.  Wei is good at oil painting. He once worked in the Tibet Autonomous Region Song and Dance Troupe.  He then graduated from the Affiliated High School of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1957, and also graduated from Wu Zuoren's Studio of the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1962, where he stayed on to teach.  He served successively as the head of the Color Teaching and Research Group of the Printmaking Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, as associate professor and professor. He is currently a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, an honorary professor of the American Oriental Painting and Calligraphy Society, and deputy secretary-general of the Cross-Straits Painting and Calligraphy Association.

His works have been selected for national art exhibitions and largescale art exhibitions at homeland and abroad many times, and have been published and collected.  In 1955, he participated in the 'International Youth Fantasy Painting Exhibition' held in Yugoslavia and won the first prize of the international youth group.  In 1982, he hold an oil painting joint exhibition with Shao Jingkun in Beijing, exhibited 150 works.  From 1982 to 1985, he participated in beautification work (painting, teaching courses) for the State Guesthouse, Prince Sihanouk's Palace, the Brazilian Embassy, the Omani Embassy, etc.  In 1985, he participated in the'Beijing Art Exhibition', and the works exhibited included “Taihang Mountain Village” ,“High Gorges and Flat Lakes”, etc.  His works such as “Misty Rain in the Three Gorges”, “Autumn Pond” and “Lilac” were acquired and published in Hong Kong, the United States and Japan in 1985.  The work“Wangfujing Past and Present” won the second prize in the 'World Conference on Women’s Chinese Art Comprehensive Exhibition' and his other works include “Going to Sea” and “Berlin Lights”.  Besides, he has published “Wu Zuoren’s Teaching Notes”, “Oil Painting Landscape and Still Life Sketches”, “Paris Sketching Notes” and so on.

Yang Fuzhi  . 楊富智   (1973  Gansu Gaolan)

Yang Fuzhi is a painter, calligrapher, scholar and art critic.  Yang is also known as Yang Tao, with the pen names Jiang Tao and Xinnong; besides, he named himself as Layman Songchan, Layman Wenmei, Layman Liaokong, Layman Jingxin, and Mr. Xuepiaoshan Ren.  He was born on January 2, 1973 in Gaolan, Gansu, he studied at the Department of Fine Arts of Northwest Normal University, the Department of Chinese of Jing’an College, and Hebei Journalism and Literature Correspondence College.  He is currently a member of the International Artists Association, a director of the Chinese Traditional Painting Association, a lifetime honorary dean of the Oriental Art Institute, a painter of the Jiangdu Painting and Calligraphy Academy, the host of the spontaneous alliance of the Dunhuang Heritage Painting School, the vice president of the Chinese Tang Dynasty Heritage Painting Academy, and the director of the Chinese Human World Painting Academy as well as the initiator of the Zhengdao Spontaneous Alliance Organization (preparation). 

His works excel in meticulous figures, flowers and birds, and boundary paintings of landscapes.  He is also good at freehand figures, flowers and birds, landscapes, and seal carving.  He is particularly good at painting eagles, cranes, chickens, tigers and dragons.  After holding the first 'Thirty-year-old Personal Calligraphy and Painting Tour Exhibition' in Gaolan on December 26, 2003, he founded the 'Songchan Art Museum and Songchan Gallery' in Yantan Antique City, Lanzhou.  It has been in operation for 5 years and his works have been exhibited all over Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Shandong, Qingdao, Xinjiang, Changchun, Chengdu, Yangzhou, Zhangye, Lanzhou, Baiyin, Dingxi, Tongwei, Gangu, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, the United States of America and Germany.  In March 2009, the Migration Art Museum began to organize a touring exhibition.
 
The 'Inviting the Moon to Zen - Yang Fuzhi's National Touring Exhibition of Calligraphy and Painting' was planned to be completed within 10 years, with the first stop being in Baiyin.  His art papers have been published in many newspapers and magazines, including Shenzhou Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting, Fine Arts News, and China Calligraphy and Painting News. His personal deeds have been reported by Western Business News, Lanzhou Evening News, Lanzhou TV Station, and Lanzhou Daily.  Having understood the greed and lust for profit, he refused to join any organization in 2006, and regarded himself as a hermit, devoting himself to cultivating virtue, practicing Zen, and writing books.  His works include “Essentials of Painting”, “Essentials of Calligraphy”, “Watching the Art of Dunhuang”, “Five Thousand Years of Chinese History Pushing Forward Another Thousand Years”, “Song Chan on Painting”,“Talking about Painting” and so on.  “Comprehensive History of Chinese Painting and  Calligraphy”, the collection of essays “Alone with the Cold Lamp” and the novels “Lost Emotions”, “The Miserable Journey of a Rich Woman” and “Shang Tang Destroys Xia” are awaiting publication.

 

Lin Tairan . 林泰然  (1973  Henan Province)

Lin Tairan was born in Xinxiang City, Henan Province in 1973.  Lin graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Henan University in 1996 with a bachelor's degree; and also graduated from the Mural Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2007 with a master’s degree.  He is currently an associate professor at Beijing Institute of Education and a member of the Chinese Artists Association.

 

Wang Xin . 王欣  (1960  Anshan, Liaoning)

Wang Xin is a famous contemporary painter, dean of Liaohai Painting and Calligraphy 
Academy, deputy editor-in-chief of Chinese Art magazine, and associate professor. 
Wang is also a member of the Chinese Artists Association and the artistic director of Beijing Linxiang Culture and Art Center.  His oil paintings have been selected for the 8th, 9th and 10th National Art Exhibitions, the 1st China Oil Painting Exhibition, the 2nd China Still Life Oil Painting Exhibition, the 6th China Sports Art Exhibition, the National Art Exhibition for the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Party, and other important exhibitions.  He won the first prize in the Contemporary Chinese Youth Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the All-China Youth Federation, the silver medal in the 12th National Star Award sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, and the 14th National Star Award Outstanding Work Award as well.

The “Wang Xin Oil Painting Solo Exhibition” was held at the Shenzhen Art Museum in 
Guangdong Province.  His work collections “Chinese Artists’ Masterpieces - Wang Xin's Oil Paintings”, “Three Major Campaigns in the History of the Liberation War” (a large comic strip, co-published), and “Wang Xin's Oil Paintings” were published by Liaoning Fine Arts Publishing House and Yuanfang Publishing House.  The monograph “Sketch Tips” was published by People's Fine Arts Publishing House.  The National key art newspapers and magazines such as China Art News and Fine Arts simultaneously reported and commented on his creative achievements.
